The Mulvane Middle School Track & Field team traveled to Winfield for the Winfield Quad on Thursday, April 4th, and the Wildcats came home with 12 first-place finishes, 13 second-place finishes, and 10 third-place finishes. Robbie Rico grabbed the gold in the 3200-meter run with a time of 11:46.96. Tavion Richardson grabbed the gold in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.21. Tavion Richardson finished on top in the 200-meter hurdles with a time of 28.32. Kyler Dieker, Keaton Grizzle, Robbie Rico, and Howard Dine finished in 1st place in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:16.70. Tavion Richardson finished in 1st place in the long jump with a distance of 18-5. Peyton Fenn finished on top in the discus with a distance of 87-11. Kaitlyn Paul grabbed the gold in the 3200-meter run with a time of 14:08.77. Haylynn Jones finished on top in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.98. Haylynn Jones finished on top in the 200-meter hurdles with a time of 31.64. Gracie Warner, Addilyn Williams, Addyson Clinesmith, and Haylynn Jones grabbed the gold in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 2:02.74. Haylynn Jones, Peyton Bartel, Emily Franklin, and Brittani Peschel finished on top in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:50.64. Addilyn Williams, Addyson Clinesmith, Kade Murray, and Kaitlyn Paul finished on top in the 1600-meter medley with a time of 5:04.49.
Howard Dine grabbed the silver in the 400-meter dash with a time of 59.25. Tysen Rhodes, Lawrence Hendrix, Bryson Schaffer, and Tegan Thrash finished in 2nd place in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 2:00.39. Bryson Canfield grabbed the silver in the discus with a distance of 101-8. Kyler Dieker grabbed the silver in the shot put with a distance of 38-9. Brittani Peschel finished in 2nd place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:06.95. Peyton Bartel finished in 2nd place in the 1600-meter run with a time of 7:16.05. Gracie Warner, Maddy Murray, Addyson Clinesmith, and Emily Franklin grabbed the silver in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 59.03. Jocelyn Bauer, Tegan Womack, Keileigh Burke, and Maddy Murray finished in 2nd place in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 2:09.35. Keileigh Burke grabbed the silver in the high jump with a height of 4-10. Rori Turner grabbed the silver in the 200-meter hurdles with a time of 34.89. Kylee Grieve, Claire Ramos, Aubree Jantz, and Rori Turner grabbed the silver in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 59.63. Sophia Comer, Rori Turner, Eloise Baerg, and Kylee Grieve finished in 2nd place in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 5:32.48. Sophia Comer finished in 2nd place in the high jump with a height of 4-0.
Tegan Thrash finished in 3rd place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:31.54. Tavion Richardson, Keaton Grizzle, Lawrence Hendrix, and Kyler Dieker finished in 3rd place in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 50.98. Kyler Dieker finished in 3rd place in the discus with a distance of 96-7. Brock Garnica finished in 3rd place in the shot put with a distance of 37-10. Dawson Palmer finished in 3rd place in the discus with a distance of 75-11. Peyton Fenn finished in 3rd place in the shot put with a distance of 32-6. Jocelyn Bauer finished in 3rd place in the shot put with a distance of 29-5. Aubree Jantz finished in 3rd place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 14.46. Aubree Jantz, Claire Ramos, Sophia Comer, and Kylee Grieve finished in 3rd place in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 2:17.38. Lydia McGrew, Addyson Frisch, Johanna Hutchinson, and Sophia Comer finished in 3rd place in the 800-meter medley with a time of 2:33.03.
