The Mulvane baseball team continues to roll this season with sweeps over Circle and Andale.

The Mulvane High School baseball team continues to roll this season as they extended their win streak to 10 with a sweep over Circle and Andale last week. The Wildcats played on the road both times and faced Circle on Monday. In game 1, the Wildcats scored early and often and ended with an 11-0 run-rule win. Parker Clubb earned the win for the Wildcats. He tossed 5 innings, giving up 0 runs, 1 hit, walking 3, and 8 strikeouts.

The Cats as a team had 10 hits in the game. Reed Hackleman went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Cats in hits. Hays Ensley, Garrett Olson, Parker Clubb, Manny Myers, and Brayden Tatum also had hits in the game for the Wildcats.

The Cats finished with 8 RBIs in the game. Hays Ensley and Garrett Olson both had 2 RBIs to lead the Wildcats. Reed Hackleman, Manny Myers, Peyton Cooper, and Lucas Sorensen each collected RBIs for the Wildcats.

Game 2 was much the same as the Wildcats scored 18 runs on 11 hits and finished with an 18-4 run-rule. Grey Sanders earned the win for the Cats. He tossed 3 and 2/3 innings, giving up 2 runs, 4 hits, walking 2, and 6 strikeouts. Nolan Fevurly also pitched for the Cats. He tossed 2 innings, giving up 0 runs, 1 hit, walking 0, and 2 strikeouts. Peyton Cooper also pitched for the Cats. He tossed 1 and 1/3 innings, giving up 2 runs, 3 hits, walking 0, and 2 strikeouts.

Mulvane as a team had 11 hits in the game. Parker Clubb and Reed Hackleman both had 3 hits to lead Mulvane. Garrett Olson, Nolan Fevurly, Brayden Tatum, Lucas Sorensen, and Hays Ensley each had hits in the game for the Mulvane Wildcats. Nolan Fevurly had 1 home run in the game, his second of the season.

The JV boys won their games over Circle 13-2 and 11-5 and remain undefeated this year.

The Wildcats game versus Andale was moved up to Wednesday to avoid potential weather. The Cats put together a couple of great games and swept Andale 12-0 and 10-3. Nolan Fevurly earned the win for the Cats in the first game. He tossed 6 innings, giving up 0 runs, 1 hit, walking 5, and 8 strikeouts.

Mulvane as a team had 15 hits in game 1. Reed Hackleman went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead the Mulvane Wildcats in hits. Parker Clubb, Hays Ensley, Brady Nelson, Grey Sanders, Lucas Sorensen, Garrett Olson, and Nolan Fevurly each had hits in the game for the Mulvane Wildcats.

Mulvane finished with 10 RBIs in the game. Reed Hackleman knocked in 4 runners to lead the Mulvane Wildcats in RBIs. Parker Clubb, Hays Ensley, Grey Sanders, Garrett Olson, and Nolan Fevurly each recorded RBIs for the Mulvane Wildcats.

He tossed 4 and 1/3 innings, giving up 3 runs, 7 hits, walking 0, and 8 strikeouts. Lucas Sorensen also pitched for the Wildcats. He tossed 2 and 2/3 innings, giving up 0 runs, 0 hits, walking 1, and 0 strikeouts.

The Wildcats as a team finished with 7 hits in the game. Reed Hackleman and Nolan Fevurly both had 2 hits to lead the Wildcats. Grey Sanders, Hays Ensley, and Manny Myers each finished with hits in the game for the Cats.

The Wildcats grabbed 6 RBIs in the game. Nolan Fevurly knocked in 4 runners to lead the Cats in RBIs. Garrett Olson, and Parker Clubb each recorded RBIs for the Cats.

The varsity boys are sitting at 7-1 on the year in league and 15-3 overall. The JV boys are still undefeated at 13-0. The Wildcats will host McPherson on Monday and will celebrate senior night.
