MMS - Coed Soccer / April 18, 2024 By Kasey McDowell
The Mulvane Middle School coed soccer team hosted the Derby North Falcons last Thursday and traveled to Hutchinson on Monday. On Thursday, the A team fell behind in the first half 0-1 but played a great second half and was able to tie up the game with a goal by Greyson Boyd off a beautiful corner kick by Elsa Kolbe. The Cats ended in a 1-1 tie with the Falcons. Eli Boyd guarded the Wildcat's net and finished the game with 7 saves with 8 shots on goal.
The B team grabbed the lead in the first half with a penalty kick goal by Izayah Dedeaux and the Wildcats were able to hold on to the 1-0 win. Greyson Boyd guarded the Wildcat's net in the first half and finished the game with 4 saves with 4 shots on goal. Eli Boyd guarded the Wildcat's net in the second half and finished the game with 2 saves with 2 shots on goal.

The Wildcats made the long trip to Hutchinson on Monday and the A game ended in a defensive battle but the Wildcats fell 0-1. Eli Boyd guarded the Wildcat's net and finished the game with 14 saves with 15 shots on goal.
The B team fell to Hutchinson 1-2 and the Wildcats were led by James Blauser who finished with the Wildcats 1 goal. Greyson Boyd was the Cats goalie in the first half and finished the game with 4 saves with 5 shots on goal. Eli Boyd guarded the Wildcat's net in the second half and finished the game with 2 saves with 3 shots on goal.

The A team is sitting at 2-2-3 on the season and the B team is sitting at 3-1-3. The Wildcats will be back on the pitch on Monday, April 22nd as they host Prairie Hills for the final games of the regular season before post season play.
