The Mulvane High School baseball team only had one doubleheader last week as they hosted El Dorado on Monday. The Wildcats broke open the first game in the 4th inning as they crossed 4 runners across the plate and finished with a 4-1 win. Grey Sanders earned the win for the Cats. He tossed 5 and 1/3 innings, giving up 1 run, 2 hits, walking 4, and 9 strikeouts. Nolan Fevurly also pitched for the Cats. He tossed 1 and 2/3 innings, giving up 0 runs, 0 hits, walking 0, and 1 strikeout.
The Wildcats as a team had 4 hits in the game and Nolan Fevurly went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Mulvane in hits. Parker Clubb and Reed Hackleman also had hits in the game for the Wildcats. Parker Clubb hit his first home run of the season in the game.
The Wildcats had 4 RBIs in the game. Parker Clubb knocked in 3 runners to lead Mulvane in RBIs and Nolan Fevurly had the only other RBI for Mulvane.
