The Mulvane Middle School Track & Field team traveled to Haysville for the Haysville West Invitational on Tuesday, April 30th, and the Wildcats came home with 3 first-place finishes, 2 second-place finishes, and 4 third-place finishes. The track meet unfortunately got canceled due to weather before all the events were held.
Kaitlyn Paul grabbed the gold in the 3200-meter run with a time of 14:13.13. Haylynn Jones finished on top in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.08. Jocelyn Bauer finished in 1st place in the discus with a distance of 83-1.
Robbie Rico grabbed the silver in the 3200-meter run with a time of 11:46.20. Kyler Dieker finished in 2nd place in the discus with a distance of 115-10.
Tavion Richardson finished in 3rd place in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.68. Peyton Fenn finished in 3rd place in the discus with a distance of 97-3. Peyton Fenn grabbed the bronze in the shot put with a distance of 34-8. Peyton Bartel finished in 3rd place in the 1600-meter run with a time of 6:57.41.
