Mulvane graduate Emma Kolbe (2022) and upcoming senior Karlie Kanaga (2023) were selected to the Kansas team for the inaugural annual Kansas vs. Oklahoma girls All-Star soccer game that was held at Friends University on Saturday, July 16th.
The Kansas team started off hot in the first half 4-0 with one goal each by Kolbe and Kanaga. The Kansas team continued their dominance in the second half and finished with an 11-0 rout of Oklahoma. Emma and Karlie both finished the game with 1 goal and 1 assist.
Kolbe and Kanaga both received All-League and All-State honors from this past season. Emma Kolbe will be playing for Butler Community College this fall and Karlie Kanaga will be entering her senior season at Mulvane this fall.
