MHS - Women's Soccer / April 29, 2021 By Kasey McDowell
The women's soccer team moved to 10-1 on the season as they defeated Winfield and Rose Hill this past week. The Wildcats will hit the field next week in the Wichita North tournament. Their first game is against Heights on Monday, May 3rd at 5:00 PM at Wichita North High School.
The women's varsity team traveled to Rose Hill on Tuesday, April 27th and defeated the Rockets 6-2 in a physically tough game. The Wildcats were led by Emma Kolbe and Karlie Kanaga who both finished with 3 goals each.
Rylie Schiffelbein guarded the Wildcats net and finished the game with 10 saves with 12 shots on goal.

The women's varsity team hosted Winfield on Monday, April 26th, and took care of the Vikings 10-0 with 7 goals in the first half and 3 in the second half. The Wildcats were led by Emma Kolbe who finished with 4 goals and 1 assist for 9 points. Emma Hoffman dropped in 3 goals and 2 assists as well and Karlie Kanaga, Cassidey Coon, and Sean Neptune all dropped in one goal each.
Rylie Schiffelbein guarded the Wildcats net and finished the game with 5 saves with 5 shots on goal.
