The Mulvane women's soccer team returns strong core even after missed season. Looking to continue success.

It was the same headline last year, but that's as far as we got. Coach Jesse Myers is going on his second year as head coach of the Mulvane women's soccer team, but it will be his first season of games as last year's season was canceled due to the pandemic. The team has been hitting the practice field hard for the past couple of weeks and they are anxious to get on the field for their first game on Monday, March 22nd at Augusta.

The Wildcats have a strong core of girls who got some varsity action in the 2018-19 season when the Cats finished 11-6 (7-2 in league play) and were led by (freshman at the time) Emma Kolbe (Jr.) who finished the season with school-records of 23 goals and 13 assists. Seniors Emma Anderson, Cassidey Coon, Sean Neptune, and Haley Hughes all got varsity experience as well and Coach Myers will be looking to them to lead the Cats this season.

There are 9 seniors, 5 juniors, 7 sophomores, and 10 freshmen this year. The Wildcats have a new assistant coach this season as well. Kellene Rorabaugh joined the coaching staff and brings with her many years of soccer experience as she played soccer in high school and college.
