The Mulvane girl's soccer team wrapped up their regular season last week with two home games versus Winfield and Wichita Trinity. The Wildcats took care of business on Tuesday against the Vikings as they dropped in 6 goals in the first half and ended the game early 10-0 in the second half.
Senior Emma Hoffman led the Cats with 4 goals, Jade Smallwood and Teagan Garrison both dropped in 2 goals each, Kierra Cain found the net for 1 goal, and Rylie Schiffelbein scored the final goal with a beautiful header with an assist from Ashlyn Alumbaugh. Alumbaugh finished with 2 assists and Smallwood and Garrison both had an assist. The Mulvane defense did not allow any shots on goal from the Vikings.

The JV game got canceled after the first half due to the weather.

The Wildcats finished their regular season on Thursday as they hosted Wichita Trinity. The game was a defensive battle all night but the Knights were able to find the net in the first half. The Cats came close a few times but were unable to score and fell 0-1. Rylie Schiffelbein guarded the Wildcats net and finished the game with 9 saves with 10 shots on goal.

The Wildcats celebrated senior night at halftime and honored the four seniors on the team this year, Emma Hoffman, Karlie Kanaga, Rylie Schiffelbein, and Rebecca Frieden.

The Wildcats finished the season with a 7-9 record and 5-4 in AVCTL League play. The girls will begin post-season play on Tuesday and will face Wichita Classical at the Stryker Complex at 7:00 PM in the first game of regionals.
