The Mulvane women's soccer team wrapped up their participation in the Wichita North Cup yesterday as they faced the Wichita Heights Falcons in their third and last game of the tournament. The Cats and Falcons were tied up at halftime 0-0, but sophomore Jade Smallwood found the net twice in the second half with assists from junior Teagan Garrison and freshman Makenzie Rogers.
The Wildcat's defense held strong and only allowed 5 shots on goal and Rylie Schiffelbein finished with 5 saves.

The Cats faced the Circle Thunderbirds in game 2 of the Cup and each team found the net in the first half, but the Birds were able to find the net twice in the second half as the Cats fell 1-3. Teagan Garrison scored the goal for the Cats with an assist from Emma Hoffman. Rylie Schiffelbein guarded the Wildcat's net and finished the game with 20 saves with 23 shots on goal.

Mulvane had their first game of the tournament against Wichita East and the teams went into halftime scoreless, but the Blue Aces were able to find the net twice in the second half and the Cats fell 0-2. Rylie Schiffelbein guarded the Wildcat's net and finished the game with 16 saves with 18 shots on goal.

The Cats will be back in action on Tuesday, May 9th as they host Winfield and will wrap up their season on Thursday as they celebrate senior night and host Wichita Trinity.
