The Mulvane girl's soccer team faced a couple of tough opponents last week as they hosted the Circle Thunderbirds on Tuesday and traveled to Andover Central on Thursday. The Cats and the Jaguars were all even in the first half tied 0-0. The Jaguars had the wind in the second half and were able get a couple of goals and hang on for the 2-0 win.
Goalkeeper Rylie Schiffelbein had a phenomenal game with 23 saves out of 25 shots on goal. "It was a great match," said Coach Myers. "We’ve got some work to do, but I couldn’t be more proud of how these young women played. Lots of girls stepped into big roles tonight and did great! Everyone gave everything they had and are such a fun crew to be a part of."

The girls had a tough game against the Circle Thunderbirds on Tuesday as they went into halftime down 0-3 and fell with a final score of 1-7. The Cats one goal came from senior Emma Hoffman with an assist by sophomore Jade Smallwood.
Rylie Schiffelbein guarded the Wildcat's net and finished the game with 7 saves with 14 shots on goal.

The Wildcats will travel to Winfield on Tuesday, April 4th for a matchup with the Vikings with the JV starting at 4:30 PM and varsity following after.
