The Mulvane 7th grade boys basketball team wrapped up their season last weekend at the Patriot League tournament. The Wildcats faced Wellington in the first game of the tournament and dispatched the Knights 37-20. The Wildcats were led by Jaxon Treat and Beckett Frazier who both finished with 11 points in the game.
The Wildcat's second game was against Ark City. Mulvane took the lead in the first quarter, but a tough second quarter had the Cats down by 10 at halftime. The boys made a valiant effort in the second half but they just could not quite make up the points, falling 35-42. Jaxon Treat led the effort with 13 points and Hollis Ensley scored 11 for the Wildcats.

The 7A boys finished the season with a 6-8 record overall and 2-3 in league play. The Cats scored a total of 440 points this season and were led by Hollis Ensley who finished with 126 points, Jaxon Treat who finished with 91 points, and Beckett Frazier who finished with 66 points. The 7B boys finished their season with an 8-4 record and 2-3 in league play. The Cats scored a total of 305 points this season and were led by Jacob Hooten who finished with 67 points and Jaxon Parrott and Brenden Powell who finished with 38 points each.
