Coach Jesse Myers said last week that the Wildcats are entering the "gauntlet" of their 2023 schedule after the Ark City tournament. The Wildcats faced the first 2 opponents of the gauntlet last week as they traveled to Rose Hill on Tuesday, September 12th, and hosted the 5A Goddard Lions on Thursday, September 14th. The Wildcats had trouble getting the offense going in both games last week, falling to Rose Hill 0-8 and to Goddard 0-7. The JV boys lost 0-9 to Rose Hill and 0-10 to Goddard. The varsity team moves to 3-4 on the season and the JV team 1-2 on the season.
