The Mulvane wrestling teams celebrated senior night last Thursday, February 2nd with a home dual versus Winfield. The seniors recognized were: Larissa Gonzalez, Kammie Schanz, Jericka Stiles, Christopher Dietrich, Maurice Fuller, Jackson Hughes, Andrew Huynh, Ethan Irvine, and Collin Wyant.

The men's dual was limited as there were several open frames and the Cats fell 22-37. Cameron Hagerman won his 138 lb match by major decision and Austin Vanderhoof won his 215 lb match by fall.

The women's dual was also limited with many open frames, but the Cats won their dual 36-30. Leiannah Landreth won her 115 lb match by fall and Katelyn Wyant won her 155 lb match by fall as well.

The men's team took 8 wrestlers to the 2-day Rose Hill tournament last Friday and Saturday, a tough tournament and the 8-man Mulvane team came in at 17 place with a 4th place and 5th place finish by the Dietrich cousins. Senior Chris Dietrich finished in 4th place in the 190 lb class with 4 wins and 2 losses and sophomore Koehn Dietrich finished in 5th place in the 106 lb weight class with 4 wins and 2 losses as well.
