The Mulvane wrestling teams both grab 2nd place at Clearwater and come home with 5 gold individual finishes.

The Mulvane Wrestling team wrapped up a full day of wrestling at Clearwater on Saturday and the Cats came home with 2 second-place finishes as the boys team finished with 155 points behind Concordia's 256 and the girls team finished with 149.5 points behind Pratt's 195. The Cats had 5 wrestlers finish on top of the podium and 8 wrestlers reached the podium as well.
Sophomore Leiannah Landreth remained undefeated on the season (20-0) and grabbed the gold in the 115 lb weight class with all 4 wins by fall. Senior Kammie Schanz also remained undefeated on the year (19-0) and finished on top of the podium in the 145 lb weight class with 3 wins by fall and 1 win by tech-fall. 
Junior Katelyn Wyant finished in 1st place in the 155 lb weight class with 1 win by fall and 2 wins by decision and she is sitting at 13-1 on the season. The Cats had four more medalists as Loren Gonzalez finished in 2nd place in the 170 lb weight class and Dacia Root (125 lb), Kasey Dillon (135 lb), and Haley Myers (140 lb) all finished in 3rd place in their brackets.
Senior Chris Dietrich improved to 21-1 on the season and finished on top of the 190 lb weight class with 2 wins by fall, a win by decision, and a sudden victory. Senior Ethan Irvine grabbed the gold in the 215 lb weight class with 3 wins by fall and is currently at 16-1 on the season. 
The Cats had four more medalists as Koehn Dietrich finished in 2nd place in the 106 lb weight class and Cameron Hagerman (138 lb), Maurice Fuller (144 lb), and Tucker Hargrove (150 lb) all finished in 3rd place in their brackets.
