Winter Homecoming is next week and the royal court has been announced.

The 2022-23 Winter Homecoming is next week and the royal court has been announced. The first queen candidate is Miss Avery Clasen.  Avery is the daughter of Bryan and Shonda Clasen. As a student at MHS, Avery has participated in volleyball, prom committee, and student council. Avery will be escorted by the first king candidate, Mr. Ben Thorson.  Ben is the son of Andrew Thorson and Heather Thorson. Ben’s activities include soccer and National Honor Society.
 
The second queen candidate is Miss Brooklyn Loveless. Brooklyn’s parents are Chris and Tara Loveless. Brooklyn has been involved in golf, bowling, varsity band, and jazz band. Escorting Brooklyn is Mr. Ethan Irvine, the second king candidate. Ethan’s parents are Carol Irvine and the late Mark Irvine. Ethan has been involved in wrestling and football. 
 
The third queen candidate is Miss Haley Shaw. Haley is the daughter of Matt and Lisa Shaw. Haley’s activities at Mulvane High School have been bowling, basketbal, and soccer. Haley’s escort is Mr. Gabe Young. Gabe’s parents are Cori and Ellen Young. Gabe’s activities include bowling and golf.
 
The fourth and final queen candidate is Miss Nina Vatre-Cazin. Nina’s parents are Thibaut Vatré and Sandrine Cazin, and her host parents areTyler and Jaime Miranda. As a student at MHS, Nina has participated in student council and cheerleading. Nina is being escorted by Mr. Landon Atkins, the final king candidate. Landon is the son of Bob and Michelle Piel. Landon has been involved in NHS, FBLA, and soccer.

The attendants for the evening are Oakley Carpenter and Camden Prier. Oakley is the daughter of Dexter and Kadee Carpenter. Kadee teaches PE and Health and is the head girls basketball coach. Camden is the son of Jesse and Courtney Prier. Courtney is a second grade teacher at Munson Primary School and Jesse is a MEF board member.

The homecoming games will be on Friday, February 10th against Circle. The themes for next week are:
* Monday: Favorite Teacher Day
* Tuesday: Snow Storm vs Beach Day
* Wednesday: Younger Self Day
* Thursday: Squad Day
* Friday: Green/White Day
