The Mulvane wrestling team finished in 3rd place as a team at Burlington, Dietrich and Irvine finish on top.

The Mulvane Wrestling team made the long trip to Burlington on Saturday, January 7th for their first tournament after winter break. The Wildcats had a great day on the mats scoring 133 points and finishing in 3rd place as a team out of 20 teams and also finished with 2 individual golds on the day.
Sophomore Koehn Dietrich finished on the top of the podium in the 106 lb weight class with 2 wins by fall and 1 win by tech fall. Senior Ethan Irvine also grabbed the gold in the 215 lb weight class with 2 wins by fall and 1 win by decision. Senior Chris Dietrich finished in 2nd place in the 190 lb weight class with a win by fall, a win by major decision, and a loss by decision.
