The Mulvane Girls Wrestling Team finished in 8th place at North, Cats grab 2 golds and a bronze.

The Mulvane Girls wrestling team traveled to Wichita North on Friday, December 16th for the North High Invitational. The Cats were down in numbers due to illness and injuries, so the Cats only had 5 girls competing, but they finished in 8th place as a team out of 18 teams, including many 5A and 6A schools. 
Sophomore Leiannah Landreth swept the 115 lb weight class with 3 wins, one by fall, one by tech fall, and one by decision. Senior Kammie Schanz also swept her 145 weight class with 3 wins by fall to grab the gold. Junior Kasey Dillon finished in 3rd place in the 135 lb weight class with a loss by fall and 3 wins by fall.
