MHS - Cross Country / September 30, 2022 By Kasey McDowell
The Mulvane High School Cross Country team traveled to Harvey County East Lake for the Berean Invitational last Thursday, September 29th. The Wildcats did not have enough runners in each race for team scores due to a couple of injuries, but individually the Wildcats brought home 5 medals. Sophomore Leiannah Landreth led the girl's varsity in the 5K run and a 17th place finish with a time of 24:15.39. Junior Anna Stahl finished in 21st place with a time of 25:26.33. Sophomore Jacob Wilson finished in 21st place in the boy's varsity 5K with a time of 19:27.89.
On the JV side, junior Jonah LaRue grabbed a medal with an 8th-place finish with a time of 21:30.11 and freshman Braxton Frazier finished in 10th place with a time of 21:49.73.
