The 2022 Fall Homecoming is this Friday, Royal Court announced.

Homecoming season is upon us this week. The 2022 Fall Homecoming candidates were announced last week and this week is spirit week for the upcoming homecoming game vs Buhler this Friday.

The first queen candidate is Miss Jolie Ebersole. Jolie is the daughter of Shawn Ebersole and Sheila Ebersole. Jolie is involved in student council, choir, and cheerleading. Jolie will be escorted by the first king candidate, Mr. Collin Wyant.  Collin is the son of Christopher and Jennifer Wyant. Collin’s activities include Circle of Friends, National Honor Society, wrestling, and soccer .

The second queen candidate is Miss Jalin Lavers. Jalin’s parents are Chris and Michelle Mize. Jalin is involved in SADD, KAY, student council, team green, golf, volleyball, and softball. Escorting Jalin is Mr. Jax Gerber, the second king candidate. Jax’s parents are Shon and Trish Gerber. Jax’s activities include soccer, basketball, and student council. 

The third queen candidate is Miss Ali McKee. Ali is the daughter of April and David McKee. Ali’s activities at Mulvane High School are klassy kats, Varsity Band, National Honor Society, and student council. Her escort is Mr. Chris Dietrich. Chris is the son of Eric and Sheila Dietrich. Chris’s activities include cross country, wrestling, track, and National Honor Society.

The fourth and final queen candidate is Miss Kammie Schanz. Kammie is the daughter of Jed and Melissa Schanz. As a student at MHS, Kammie has been involved in wrestling, softball, cross country, football, student council, FFA, KAY, SADD, and National Honor Society. Kammie is being escorted by Mr. Andy Huynh, the final king candidate. Andy is the son of Elizabeth Moore. Andy’s activities at Mulvane High School are football and wrestling.

The attendants will be Emerson Whisler and Lukah Smith-Robert. Emerson is the daughter of Jason and Laura Whisler. Jason teaches AutoCad, Architect & Welding. Additionally, Jason coaches High School football and little kids wrestling. Lukah is the son of Jim Robert and Shanna and Sean Ritterhouse. Sean teaches Physical Science, Earth Space Science, and AP Environmental Science at the high school.

The Spirit Week themes are:
* Monday - Atom or Adam Day
* Tuesday - BBQ Dad vs Soccer Mom
* Wednesday - Anything But a Backpack
* Thursday - Country vs. Country Club
* Friday - Green/White Day
