The Mulvane track team participated in the Wellington Invitational on Friday, April 29th, and the Wildcats brought home 7 golds. The girl's team had two first-place finishes as Addy Whisler jumped her way to gold with a high jump of 5 feet and 2 inches. Bella Larraga took first in the discus with a toss of 93 feet and 6.25 inches.
The boy's team had five first-place finishes with Jacob Duncan getting gold in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.41. Victor Salazar finished first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:19.99. Jacob Wilson was the top runner in the 3200-meter run with a time of 11:22.36. The boys 4x800 meter relay team (Duncan, Wilson, Eggleston, Salazar) finished first with a time of 9:50.27. Chase Nash grabbed the gold in the discus with a toss of 149 feet and 2 inches.
