The Mulvane Middle School track team had their one and only home meet on Thursday, April 28th, and the 8th-grade boys took 1st place with 99 points and 6 first-place finishes. The 7th-grade girls took 3rd place with 71 points and 4 first-place finishes. The 7th-grade boys finished in 5th place with 50 points with 1 first-place finish, and the 8th-grade girls finished in 6th place with 46.5 points.
7th-grader Blake Ferraro finished in 1st place in the 100 and 200-meter dashes with times of 13.74 and 28.31. The 7th-grade girls 100-meter and 200-meter relay teams also finished in 1st place with times of 58.31 and 2:05.09.
8th-grader Hunter Landis finished in 1st place in the 100 and 200-meter dashes with times of 12.04 and 24.12. Lane Rogers grabbed the gold in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:26.96. The 4x100 meter relay team finished first with a time of 49.67. The 4x200 meter relay team grabbed gold with a time of 1:45.41. The 1600 medley relay team finished first with a time of 4:33.18.
The 7th-grade boy's team finished with 1 gold as Cole Zimmerman was the top time in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:24.66

The MMS JV team will travel to Goddard for the Eisenhower JV Meet at 3:30 PM tomorrow and the varsity squad will be back in action on Tuesday for the Haysville West Invitational at 3:30 PM.
