The Mulvane High School track team is preparing for their first meet of the 2021-22 season as they will be traveling to the Andover Invitational Monday, March 28th at 3:30 PM. "We had a great first 2 weeks of practice and large turnout for spring break practices," said Coach Robin Williams. " We have awesome senior leadership this year, and are looking for those kids to compete well along with our returning underclassmen and incoming freshmen."
The Wildcats will be returning 3 of the 4 all-state girls 800 meter relay team including senior Amber Hansen, junior Reagan Sparks, and senior Delaney Hamm. The Cats will be returning all-state discus thrower senior Chase Nash, and state qualifiers Amber Hansen (400), senior Jacob Duncan (400), and state qualifying men's 4x800 team of Chris Dietrich, Jacob Duncan, Matthew Egglesten, and Victor Salazar.
The girls team has 9 seniors, 3 juniors, 9 sophomores, and 1 freshman. The boys team has 6 seniors, 5 juniors, 10 sophomores, and 6 freshmen.
