The Men's basketball team are looking to rebound this Friday against Wellington after a 3-game skid to El Dorado, Rose Hill, and Collegiate. The Cats will celebrate the seniors this Friday at Senior Night. The Mulvane Seniors are Landon Coe, Mason Ellis, Tyson Lazier, Ian Comer, and Tucker Garrison.
The Cats faced El Dorado last week on Tuesday, February 8th and the two Wildcat teams were pretty even throughout the whole game but El Dorado was able to take the game 72-64. The Mulvane Cats were led by Kaiden Abasolo who had a monster game with 31 points and 6 rebounds. Ian Comer had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

The JV team had great 2nd and 4th quarters to propel them to the 51-39 win. Aiden McKee led the Wildcats with 13 points on the evening.

The Wildcats traveled to Rose Hill last Friday, February 11th for a rematch with the Rockets. The Wildcats had tough 2nd and 3rd quarters and found themselves down by 21 points. They won the 4th quarter but was unable to make up the difference and fell 61-72. Ian Comer and Mason Ellis had great games and led the Wildcats with 21 and 20 points on the evening. Kaiden Abasolo led the Cats in rebounds with 8 boards.

Mulvane hosted Collegiate this past Tuesday, February 15th, and the Spartans defense gave the Wildcats fits as they fell 49-64. Ian Comer led the team with 15 points and rebounds with 10 in the game. Mason Ellis broke into double digits with 14 points and Kaiden Abasolo also had a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
