The MMS boys faced Rose Hill and Prairie Hills last week, Cats go 3-1 against Rockets, Split with Crusaders.

The MMS boys basketball teams hosted the Rose Hill Rockets last Monday and traveled to Prairie Hills last Thursday. The Wildcats went 3-1 against the Rockets and split on the evening with Prairie Hills. The 8A team is sitting at 5-4 on the season and 3-3 in league play. The 8A team is sitting at 7-2 on the season and 4-2 in league play. The 7A team is sitting at 9-0 on the season and 6-0 in league play. The 7B team is sitting at 8-1 on the season and 5-1 in league play. 

The 8A team had no trouble with the Rockets as they dropped in 38 points in the first half and coasted to the 60-13 win. Parker Clubb led the Cats with 18 points on the evening and Reed Hackleman and Manny Myers both finished in double digits with 15 and 12 points respectively.

The 8B team also had a great game against Rose Hill as they won 45-17. Jonathan Wilson led the boys with 16 points on the evening.

The 7A game was a nail biter and ended up in overtime but the Wildcats came out on top 44-41. The boys jumped out ahead in the first half with a 26-19 lead at halftime. The Wildcats were outscored in the second half 13-20, but were able to hang on for the 44-41 win in OT. Hudson Myers led the boys with 15 points on the evening and Hays Ensley dropped in 10 points for the Wildcats.

The 8A had trouble breaking through the Prairie Hills defense all evening as they fell 25-40. The Wildcats were down 15-21 going into halftime but were only able to muster up 10 points in the second half. Manny Myers led the boys with 8 points on the evening.

The 8B boys fell behind in the first half, going into halftime down 9-20. The teams tied in the second half but the Cats were not able to make up the points and fell 24-35. Aaron Heird led the Cats with 9 points on the evening.

The 7A team jumped out in front of Prairie Hills 17-12 in the first half and was able to finish out the game strong for the 36-24 win. Hays Ensley led the Cats with 13 points on the evening.

The 7B team had a shootout with Prairie Hills as they were neck and neck for most of the ballgame. The boys had a strong 3rd quarter and were able to hold on for the 22-16 win. Brody Clasen led the Cats with 12 points in the game.
