The Mulvane boys JV team and girls varsity traveled to Wellington today for a tournament while the Varsity boys had the day off. The tournament was a mix of JV boys and varsity girls for a combined score and the Wildcats finished in 4th place overall with 169 points. 

The Wildcats had three first-place finishes in the tournament. Matt Eggleston finished in 1st place in the 132B weight class, Leiannah Landreth continued her dominance and finished in 1st place in the girls 109 weight class, and Kammy Schanz is getting warmed back up and grabbed 1st place in the girls 155-170 weight class. The Cats had three second-place finishes with Koehn Dietrich (106), Gaelin Mason-Schmidt (152), and Larissa Gonzalez (girls 120) all finished in 2nd place.

The Wildcats participated in the Douglass Jamboree last Thursday. It was not a dual or tournament, just a bunch of matches to get the wrestlers some matches in and more experience. The Cats did great on the evening, winning many of their matches.
