The Mulvane Middle School wrestling team hosted their one and only home double dual for the 2021 season on Tuesday, November 9th, and split on the evening with Haysville West and Circle. The Wildcats started the evening in a dual against Haysville West and fell in a close contest 39-43. Kurtis Caruthers was the only Wildcat with a win by fall in the dual and Ethan Everhart won his match by decision.

The Cats faced Circle in the second dual of the evening and Mulvane came away with a 54-33 win. Lucas Cummings, Caleb Holle, Kurtis Caruthers, and KJ Schanz all won their matches by fall.

The Wildcats traveled to Haysville West on Saturday, November 13th for a tournament and finished in 5th place with 111.5 points. The Cats finished the tournament with one 1st place finish, one 2nd place finish, seven 3rd place finishes, and three 4th place finishes. JJ Jennings finished in first place in the 85 lb weight class with 3 wins by fall.
