The Mulvane men's soccer team closed out their 2021 season at regionals last Tuesday, October 6th as they played Wichita Trinity and fell 0-9 to the Knights. Alex Dial finished the game with 14 saves in the game.
The Wildcats finished the season with a 4-13 record and 3-6 in league play. The Cats were led this season by junior Ben Thorson who finished the season with 12 goals and 1 assist for 25 points. Sophomore Aiden McKee finished the season with 5 goals and 9 assists for 19 points, and just one assist shy of tying the school record for assists in a season.
Senior Kelton Boster finished the season with 7 goals and 1 assist for 15 points on the season. Sophomore Garrett Booe finished the season with 4 goals and 0 assists for 8 points. Junior Alex Dial guarded the net in all but 1 game for the Cats and finished the season with 175 saves and allowing 65 goals for a 74% save percentage.

"We ended the season with high numbers and high spirits," said Coach Myers. "The seniors will be tough to replace, as always, but we have a great group of underclassmen that put a lot of work in this past summer. While no one is satisfied with where we are, we are optimistic with where we are going."
The JV squad finished the season with a 3-8-2 record and 2-3-1 against league teams.
