The Mulvane Middle School girls volleyball faced Clearwater and Haysville West in a triangular last Monday, September 20th. The 8th-grade girls continued their dominance on the season and improved to 8-0 on the season and 4-0 in league play for both the 8A and 8B teams. The 7th grade A team has split in each triangular this year and are sitting at 4-4 on the season and 1-3 in league play. The 7B team is sitting at 2-6 on the season and 1-3 in league play.

The Mulvane Middle School volleyball teams faced Rose Hill and Ark City last Monday, September 13th in a triangular. The 8th grade at Mulvane and the 7th grade at Rose Hill. The 8A girls defeated Ark City in two games, the first was a close 26-24 match and in the second game, the Cats put Ark City away 25-14. They also defeated Rose Hill in two games, the first was 25-19 and the second was 25-9. The 8B team had a couple of close games but won both matches 25-7 and 25-20 against Ark City and 25-22 and 25-21 against Rose Hill. The 7A girls won their match against Ark City 25-18 and 25-18 but fell to Rose Hill 11-25 and 17-25. The 7B team fell in both games 23-25, 28-26, 13-15 against Ark City and 11-25 and 15-25 to Rose Hill.

The girls will be back on the courts on Monday, September 27th as the 7th grade girls will host Haysville West and Prairie Hills at Mulvane and the 8th grade girls will travel to Haysville West for their games, starting at 4:30 PM.
