The 8th grade volleyball team sits undefeated after 4 matches, 7th graders split with opponents.

The Mulvane Middle School volleyball teams now have 4 games under their belt and the 8th graders are on fire with both the A and B teams sitting at 4-0 on the season. The 7A team is sitting at 2-2 on the season and the 7B team is sitting at 1-3 on the season.

The 8th graders traveled to Winfield on August 30th for a triangular with Winfield and Augusta. The 8A team took 2 games from Winfield 25-9 and 25-9 and also from Augusta in very close games 27-25 and 28-26. The 8B team also went 2-0 on the evening with wins over Winfield 25-15 and 25-6 and Augusta 25-20 and 25-14.

The 7th graders traveled to Augusta on August 30th for a triangular with Augusta and Winfield. The 7A team took 2 games from Winfield 25-23 and 25-20 but fell to Augusta in 2 games 5-25 and 22-25. The 7B team took Augusta to 3 games and got the win 25-17, 23-25, and 15-3 but fell to Augusta 17-25 and 22-25.

The 8th graders traveled to Rose Hill on September 7th for a triangular with Rose Hill and Augusta. The 8A had another close match with Augusta but came out on top 2-1 with games of 25-23, 19-25, and 16-14. They took 2 games from Rose Hill 25-19 and 25-21. The 8B team also went 2-0 on the evening with wins over Augusta 25-21 and 25-19 and Rose Hill 22-25, 25-16, and 15-11.

The 7th-grade team hosted their first triangular of the season on September 7th and faced Rose Hill and Augusta. The 7A team won both games against Augusta 25-21 and 25-22. They had a close match with Rose Hill but fell 1-2 with games of 20-25, 25-18, and 10-15. The 7B team fell in both games on the evening, with scores of 14-25 and 9-25 against Augusta and 17-25 and 13-25 against Rose Hill.

The 8th-grade girls will have their first home matches on Monday, September 13th against Ark City and Rose Hill while the 7th grade girls will travel to Rose Hill for the triangular with matches starting at 5:00 PM.
