The Mulvane Middle School track team brings home 5 golds from the Wellington Invitational.

The Mulvane Middle School Track team traveled to Wellington on Thursday, April 15th for the Wellington Invitational. The Wildcats brought home 5 gold medals and a 3rd place finish by the 7th-grade boy's team.

Grabbing first place finishes were Hunter Landis in the 7th Boys 200 Meter Dash with a time of 26.06, Johnathan Wilson in the 7th boys 800-meter run and 1600-meter run with times of 2:33.80 and 5:38.03 respectively, the 7th Boys 4x200 Meter Relay (Hunter Heckart, Lane Rogers, Kurtis Caruthers, Hunter Landis) with a time of 1:55.51, and Jaryn Baker in the 7th girls shot put with a throw of 29 feet 4.25 inches.
