The Mulvane girls wrestling team traveled to Rose Hill last Friday, February 5th for the KSHSAA Girls D2 District tournament. The Wildcats finished with two 1st place finishes, one 2nd place finish, three 3rd place finishes, and one 4th place finish. The girl's team finished with 49 points for a 2nd place finish as a team. Kammie Schanz (So.) finished in 1st place in the 138 lb bracket with a bye and one win by major decision. Katelyn Wyant (Fr.) finished in 1st place in the 155 lb bracket with two wins by fall. All the Mulvane girls qualified for the regional tournament to be held at Circle High School next Saturday, February 13th at Circle High School.
