The middle school boys basketball teams sweep Rose Hill and outscore them 138-57 in the 4 games.

The Mulvane Middle School boys basketball teams traveled to Rose Hill on Monday, February 8th for a Patriot League matchup against the Rockets. The Wildcats swept the rockets in all 4 games on the evening. 

The 7A team took care of business as they kept Rose Hill at bay all game long. The Wildcats took the lead during the first half, going into halftime up 27-4. The Wildcats closed out the second half of the game by outscoring Rose Hill 19-3 and got the win 46-7. Parker Clubb led the Cats with 12 points on the evening. Dominic Baxter and Manny Myers both also broke into double digits with 10 points each.

The 7B team had no trouble against Rose Hill as they won the game 31-18. The Cats took the 9-5 lead in the first quarter. The boys were outscored in the second quarter but were ahead at halftime 16-14. Mulvane won the third quarter and went into the fourth up 26-14. The Cats outscored Rose Hill in the fourth quarter and finished with a 31-18 win. Jonathan Wilson led the Wildcats with 13 points on the evening.

The 8A team had no trouble against Rose Hill as they won the game 35-12. The Cats took the 10-4 lead in the first quarter. The Wildcats outscored Rose Hill in the second quarter and were ahead at halftime 22-7. The Cats won the third quarter and went into the fourth up 33-9. The boys lost the fourth quarter but held on for the 35-12 win. Fisher Dye led the Cats with 7 points on the evening.

The 8B team had a shootout with Rose Hill as they were neck and neck for most of the second half of the ballgame. The Wildcats fell behind in the first quarter 3-4. The boys won the second quarter and were ahead at halftime 16-8. The Cats won the third quarter and went into the fourth up 23-13. The Cats lost the fourth quarter but held on for the 26-20 win. Braylon Ross led the boys with 12 points on the evening.
