The Mulvane Middle School boys basketball teams hosted their first home games of the season on Tuesday, January 25th as the Haysville West Gorillas made the trip over for a Patriot League matchup.

The 8A game was a defensive battle between both teams and the Gorillas were able to finish with the 27-14 win over the Cats.  "We had a hard time with their full-court press which caused us to make turnovers," said Coach Hargrove. "We need to do a better job of staying composed and keeping things simple. We had open looks but couldn't get them to fall." Fisher Dye led the Cats with 9 points on the evening.
