In the 8th grade A-game, "the boys did a good job making cuts and getting open looks but we couldn't finish open shots all night," said Coach Hargrove. "Winfield had a couple of tall players that we tried to out jump instead of boxing out. On the D end, we really did a decent job getting into passing lanes and making them make mistakes we just didn't capitalize on those mistakes. We put on some full-court pressure and the boys did a great job of getting turnovers in our press. It came down to the little but big things tonight. We will get to practice and work on keeping things simple. Fish, Mow, and Aiden did a good job dealing with their tall athletic post players. Chance Koester, Cavin Martin, and Palmer came in and played some quality minutes for us. I know it was a loss but coach Just and I saw some things that we are really happy with." The box score for this game was N/A.

"In the B game, it was the same as the A game we couldn't make open shots. We had open looks all game and the difference is they made shots and we didn't. Braylon Ross had a great game and really turned it up at the end of the game. Hit some shots and took two charges which gave us a spark. Cavin Martin and Palmer did a great job in the paint. Chance played a really good game on both ends of the court," said Coach Hargrove. The box score for this game was N/A.

8A Game:
"The guys played some great D all night. Prairie Hills is a tough team with some tall players. After our first game, we really worked hard on boxing out. We knew PH had some tall kids so we had to get a body on those guys to get boards and we did a great job of it. Aiden Heckathorn and Dylan Mow did a great job rebounding and playing D against their tall players. Fisher had a good game, breaking their press and getting to the rim. Cooper and Brady played a good game and did a great job closing out and stopping PH guards from driving. We knew PH was a tough team and we did a great job slowing down the things they are good at. We controlled the tempo for 3 quarters of the game. We need to do a better job of staying under control in the 4th quarter. I'm very happy with the way we played against a tough team," said Coach Hargrove. The box score for this game was N/A.

8B Game:
"Cameron Hagerman and Braylon Ross did a good job of not letting their guards get open. We need to do a better job of keeping things simple and having quality possessions. Bad passes hurt us in our B game. Dylan Paul had a good game on the offensive end of the floor. PH had two kids that were pretty tall and Kaden Palmer and Cavin Martin did a decent job rebounding against those guys," said Coach Hargrove. The box score for this game was N/A.
