The Mulvane Wrestling team traveled to Wellington last Saturday and came home with a second-place finish in the tournament. The Cats finished with 165 points second to Andover who finished with 230.5 points. The Wildcats had 3 first-place finishes, 1 second-place finish, 2 third-place finishes, and 3 fourth-place finishes.

Senior Chadwick Stahl finished in 1st place in the 132 lb bracket with 3 wins by fall and 1 win by decision. Sophomore Chris Dietrich finished in 1st place in the 160 lb bracket with 3 wins by fall, 1 win by major decision, and 1 win by decision. Senior Hunter Scott finished in 1st place in the 285 lb bracket with 3 wins by fall and 1 win by decision.

On the girl's side, the Cats had 1 first-place finish, 3 third-place finishes, 3 fourth-place finishes, and 1 fifth-place finish. Freshman Chloe Watson finished in 1st place in the 101 lb bracket with 1 win by fall and 1 win by decision.
