The Mulvane volleyball season comes to an end at regionals, looks forward to future.

The Mulvane High School Volleyball team closed out the season at regionals on Saturday, October 24th as they fell to Wellington in 2 games (14-25, 13-25). The Varsity team finished the season with a 10-21 record and finished 0-9 in league play. The JV team finished the season with a 6-18 record and the freshman finished with an 11-15 record. As young team the last couple of years, Coach Kollmeyer is looking forward to see how the team progresses over the next couple of years.

Sophomore Emily Schmidt led the Wildcats this season in hitting with 433 hits with an 83.0% hit percentage and 206 kills with a 39.5% kill percentage. She finished with 237 serves received, 214 serves, 52 aces, and 128 digs. Junior Tatum Heersche led the Wildcats in serves received with 325 with a 91.3% serve received percentage and also digs with 205. Tatum also finished with 177 serves and 14 aces.

Sophomore Karlie Kanaga led the team in assists with 236 with a 26.2% assist percentage and also serves with 224 serves with an 87.5% serve percentage. She finished the season with 106 kills and 186 digs. Senior Haley Chambers finished the season with 213 assists with a 29.4% assist percentage, 132 hits with an 83.5% hit percentage, 32 kills, 188 serves with a 91.3% serve percentage, 14 aces, and 105 digs.

Junior Addison Whisler finished the season with 211 hits with an 81.5% hit percentage, 64 kills, 17 blocks, and 22 digs. Junior Makenna Reekie finished the season with 71 serves received with an 82.6% serve received percentage, 127 hits with an 80.4% hit percentage, 37 kills, and 39 digs.

Junior Lexi Schuckman finished the season with 166 serves received with an 89.7% serve received percentage, 102 serves with an 88.7% serve percentage, 8 aces, and 84 digs. Junior Legend Bell finished the season with 183 hits with a 70.4% hit percentage, 64 kills, 5 blocks, and 31 digs.

Sophomore Landry Sanders finished the season with 108 serves received with a 91.5% serves received percentage, 122 hits with a 73.1% hit percentage, 45 kills, 14 blocks, 160 serves with an 84.7% serve percentage, 22 aces, and 52 digs. Sophomore Jadyn Stevenson finished the season with 94 serves received with a 90.4% serves received percentage, 83 serves with a 94.3% serve percentage, 11 aces, and 62 digs.
