MHS - Men's Basketball / February 3, 2024 By Kasey McDowell
The Mulvane Middle School boys basketball teams had one game this week as they hosted the Winfield Vikings on Thursday. The Vikings had their shot going all night as they won all 4 games. The 7A boys were tied after one quarter, but a tough 2nd quarter had them down by 14 and the Cats fell to Winfield 34-47. Hollis Ensley led the Wildcats with 12 points in the game. The 7B boys also had a tough 14-point quarter and they fell 27-37. Jacob Hooten led the Cats with 10 points on the evening.

The 8A boys had trouble getting points to fall against Winfield and the Vikings couldn't seem to miss as the Cats fell 22-47. Parker Kraft led the Wildcats with 7 points on the evening and Kyler Dieker dropped in 6 points. The 8B team also found themselves down early and could not make up the points as they fell 32-44. Jaxon Avila led the Wildcats with 12 points on the evening.
