The Wildcats celebrated homecoming week last week and hosted the undefeated McPherson Bullpups last Friday for the 2023-24 Winter Homecoming game. The Wildcats could not make up the difference in the second half and fell with a final score of 42-67. Kaiden Abasolo led the Wildcats with 21 points on the evening and Manny Myers broke into double digits with 10 points. Manny and Kaiden also both led the Cats on the boards with 5 rebounds each.

The homecoming ceremony took place during the varsity halftime with the homecoming candidates Kaiden Abasolo, Ashlyn Alumbaugh, Colton Fleming, Mariah Cowin, Gavin Wayman, Teagan Garrison, Will Perkins, and Loren Gonzalez. The attendants were Rebecca Beadle and Jude Bernal. Congrats to Colton Fleming and Mariah Cowin who were crowned King and Queen.

Grady Myers, Canon Lazier, and Dominic Baxter all led the Wildcats with 9 points each in the game.

The teams tied in the second quarter and they went into halftime all tied up 25-25. The boys lost the third quarter and were behind 33-37 going into the fourth.
