Austin Vanderhoof reaches top spot for Wildcats as the team finishes in 9th place in first tournament of 2024.

The Mulvane High School men's wrestling team traveled to Augusta yesterday for their first tournament in the 2024 year. The Wildcats finished in 9th place out of 14 teams with 66 points. Senior Austin Vanderhoof finished in 3rd place in the 215 weight class with 3 wins by fall. Sophomore KJ Schanz finished in 4th place in the 285 lb weight class, and juniors Koehn Dietrich and Gaelin Mason-Schmidt both finished in 5th place in the 113 and 175 lb weight classes.
