The Mulvane High School wrestling teams traveled to Wellington on Saturday for the Wellington boys and girls invitationals. The boy's team finished in 2nd place with 107.5 points and the girl's team finished in 11th place with 36.0 points. The Wildcats had 3 wrestlers finish in first place in their weight classes. Junior Cameron Hagerman finished on top in the 165 lb weight class, Senior Austin Vanderhoof grabbed the gold in the 215 lb weight class, and junior Leiannah Landreth finished in 1st place in the girl's 120 lb weight class.

Also medaling for the Wildcats was Noah West who finished in 2nd place in the 190 lb weight class, Koehn Dietrich who finished in 3rd place in the 113 lb weight class, Kyson Schultz who finished in 3rd place in the 132 lb weight class, Gaelin Mason-Schmidt who finished in 3rd place in the 175 lb weight class, and Elaina Gamble who grabbed 4th place in the girls 140 lb weight class.
