The Mulvane High School wrestling team traveled to McPherson for a double dual against McPherson and Wellington.

The Wildcat boys won 4 matches against McPherson but lost with a final score of 24-57. Koehn Dietrich, Quincy Walker, Kyson Schultz, and Hunter Vanderhoof all won their match by fall.

The Wildcat boys won 7 matches against Wellington and won with a final score of 42-36. Kyson Schultz, Tucker Hargrove, Gaelin Mason-Schmidt, and Austin Vanderhoof all won their match by fall.

The Wildcat girls won 5 matches against McPherson but lost with a final score of 30-54. Makenzie Rogers and Bailey Thompson both won their match by fall.

The Wildcat girls won 3 matches against Wellington but lost with a final score of 18-54. Leiannah Landreth and Makenzie Rogers both won their match by fall.

Junior Koehn Dietrich and senior Austin Vanderhoof both finished in 3rd place for the Wildcats in the 113 and 215 lb weight classes respectively.

The boys JV team traveled to Wichita Southeast on Saturday and there were no team scores. The Wildcats had 1 wrestler finish in 1st place and 3 wrestlers finish in 2nd place in their respective weight classes. Caleb Holle finished in 1st place in the 157B weight class. Sam Sullivan finished in 2nd place in the 138B weight class, Aiden Branine finished in 2nd place in the 165 lb weight class, and Justin Morgan finished in 2nd place in the 285 lb weight class.
