The Mulvane men's soccer team had their final home game of the season last Tuesday, October 10th and celebrated senior night as they faced a tough Augusta team. The seniors recognized this year with their families were Garrett Booe, Canon Lampe, Kyson Schultz, Will Perkins, Kierran Hoffman, Matthew Eggleston, Aiden McKee, Kyler Smith, Layne McDonald, Gavin Young, Chance Nolan, Adrian Gomez, and Colton Fleming. The Wildcats fell to the Orioles 0-6 in the game. Gavin Young guarded the Wildcats net and finished the game with 9 saves with 15 shots on goal.

The JV team fell to Augusta 1-4 with Kristopher Paul finding the net for the JV Cats.

The Wildcats traveled to Berean Academy on Thursday, October 12th for a non-league matchup and the Cats battled tough but fell 0-2 to the Warriors. Gavin Young guarded the Wildcats net and finished the game with 10 saves with 12 shots on goal.

The varsity team is sitting at 4-11 on the season and 2-4 in AVCTL league play and the JV team is 1-11-1 on the season. The Cats will be back in action on Tuesday, October 17th at Winfield for their final regular season game.
