The Mulvane Middle School girls volleyball teams played in a triangular this past week, a home triangular versus Circle and Haysville West on Monday, September 25th for the 8th-grade girls, and the 7th-grade girls were at Circle. The 8th-grade girls swept both teams on the evening as the 8A girls won 2-0 against Circle (25-23 and 25-23) and 2-0 against Haysville West (25-17 and 25-17). The 8B girls won 2-0 against Circle (25-17 and 25-13) and 2-0 against Haysville West (25-15 and 25-11). The 8A girls are sitting at 5-2 on the season and 3-2 in league play. The 8B girls are undefeated this season at 7-0 and 5-0 in league play.
The 7th-grade girls both split in their triangulars as the 7A girls won 2-1 against Circle (13-25, 25-12, and 15-4) and lost to Haysville West 1-2 (20-25, 25-21, and 13-15). The 7B girls lost to Circle 0-2 (16-25 and 18-25) and defeated Haysville West 2-0 (25-11 and 25-17). Both the 7A and 7B girls are sitting at 5-2 on the season and 4-1 in league play.
The girls will be back in action on Monday, October 2nd with the 8th graders at home again for a triangular with El Dorado and Wellington and the 7th girls will be in El Dorado for a triangular.
