The 2023 fall homecoming royalty has been announced, homecoming game on Friday, October 6th.

The 2023-24 Fall Homecoming is upon us, coming up next week and the Homecoming Royalty has been announced. The first queen candidate is Miss Addison Mackey. Addison is the daughter of Andy and Kim Mackey. Addison is involved in golf and softball. Addison is being escorted by the first king candidate, Mr. Aiden McKee.  Aiden is the son of David and April McKee.  Aiden’s activities include soccer, football, and basketball.

The second queen candidate is Miss Abigail Malanchuk. Abigail’s parents are Paul and Jennifer Malanchuk. Abigail is involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, GSA, cheerleading, and soccer. Escorting Abigail is Mr. Garrett Olson, the second king candidate. Garrett’s parents are Corey and Christine Olson. Garrett’s activities include baseball, football, 2 years of basketball, and student council.

The third queen candidate is Miss Haley Myers. Haley is the daughter of Jesse and Khristina Myers. Haley’s activities at Mulvane High School are wrestling, Student Council, National Honor Society, and competitive dance. Her escort is Mr. Matthew Eggleston. Matthew is the son of Kelly Page and Brock Eggleston. Matthew’s activities include soccer, wrestling, track, band, and jazz band.
 
The fourth and final queen candidate is Miss Katelyn Wyant. Katelyn is the daughter of Christopher and Jennifer Wyant. As a student at MHS, Katelyn has been involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, cheerleading, wrestling, soccer, and is a student ambassador. Katelyn is being escorted by Mr. Tucker Hargrove. Tucker is the son of Keene and Christin Hargrove. Tucker’s activities during high school are FFA, National Honor Society, football, and wrestling.

The attendants are Emeree and Murphy Felts. Emeree and Murphy’s parents are Adam and Courtney Felts. Emeree and Murphy are the niece and nephew of Kelly Connelly. Kelly teaches ELA at the high school and also sponsors the junior class and the national honor society.

The homecoming ceremony will be during halftime at the football game on Friday, October 6th. Next week is Spirit Week with the following themes:
* Monday - Pajama Day
* Tuesday - Holiday Day
* Wednesday - Barbie vs Ken
* Thursday - Anything but a backpack
* Friday - Green & White
