The Mulvane Middle School Track & Field team traveled to Rose Hill for the Patriot League Meet on Tuesday, May 9th (and on Friday after weather delayed the meet), and the Wildcats came home with 9 first-place finishes, 7 second-place finishes, and 11 third-place finishes. Cole Zimmerman finished on top in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:25.66. 
Cole Zimmerman finished in 1st place in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:18.95. Ethan Hankins finished in 1st place in the 3200-meter run with a time of 11:57.15. Cole Zimmerman finished in 1st place in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.63. Tavion Richardson grabbed the gold in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.83. Haylynn Jones finished in 1st place in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 18.03. 
Haylynn Jones grabbed the gold in the 200-meter hurdles with a time of 33.70. Addyson Clinesmith, Gracie Warner, Addilyn Williams, and Haylynn Jones finished in 1st place in the 4x200 meter relay with a time of 2:05.42. Keileigh Burke grabbed the gold in the high jump with a height of 4 feet 6 inches.
Grant Cornett finished in 2nd place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:27.25. Cole Zimmerman finished in 2nd place in the 200-meter hurdles with a time of 30.59. Evan Grove, Landon Myers, Kyle Caruthers, and Ethan Hankins finished in 2nd place in the 1600-meter medley with a time of 4:29.55. Tavion Richardson finished in 2nd place in the 200-meter hurdles with a time of 30.48. Tysen Rhodes, Bryce Adams, Fenton Smith, and Howard Dine grabbed the silver in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:21.57. Blake Ferraro grabbed the silver in the 100-meter dash with a time of 14.12. Rachael Langholz, Abby Hougland, Sierra Schmitz, and Blake Ferraro finished in 2nd place in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 56.60.
Ethan Hankins finished in 3rd place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 58.04. Grant Cornett finished in 3rd place in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:31.84. Colter Light grabbed the bronze in the 200-meter hurdles with a time of 30.87. Ethan Hankins, Kyle Caruthers, Landon Myers, and Evan Grove grabbed the bronze in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 4:25.20. Howard Dine grabbed the bronze in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:04.30. 
Howard Dine, Keaton Grizzle, Tavion Richardson, and Tysen Rhodes finished in 3rd place in the 4x100 meter relay with a time of 54.68. Kane Cuthbertson, Tysen Rhodes, Keaton Grizzle, and Colby Billingslea grabbed the bronze in the 800-meter medley with a time of 2:03.89. Emma Jacobs, Abby Hougland, Ryanne Kirkpatrick, and Sierra Schmitz finished in 3rd place in the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 5:13.22. Emma Jacobs grabbed the bronze in the high jump with a height of 4 feet 2 inches. Kaitlyn Paul finished in 3rd place in the 200-meter hurdles with a time of 36.14. Haylynn Jones finished in 3rd place in the long jump with a distance of 12 feet 11.5 inches.
