The Mulvane baseball season came to a close on Tuesday at the regional tournament in Pratt as the Cats took on the number 1 seed host team in the first game of the bracket. The Wildcats found themselves down 1-4 after the first 2 innings, but the Cats dropped in 4 runs in the 5th inning to take a 5-4 lead. The Greenbacks tied the game 5-5 in the 6th inning and scored the game-winner in the bottom of the 7th inning.
Nolan Fevurly made the start for the Wildcats and pitched 3.1 innings facing 21 batters and gave up 1 earned run on 3 hits and 2 strikeouts. Julien Myers pitched 3 innings for the Cats and faced 14 batters and gave up 2 earned runs on 5 hits and 2 strikeouts.
The Wildcats as a team finished with 8 hits in the game and Parker Richardson and Nolan Fevurly both had 2 hits to lead Mulvane. Brady Nelson, Tyke Creekmore, Lucas Sorensen, and Manny Myers each finished with 1 hit in the game for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats finished with 5 RBIs in the game and Nolan Fevurly knocked in 3 runners to lead the Wildcats in RBIs. Brady Nelson, and Lucas Sorensen each finished with 1 RBI for the Wildcats.

The Wildcats finished the season with an 8-13 record and 3-7 in league play. Senior Parker Richardson led the Cats in hits and batting average with 22 and .349 respectively. Junior Garrett Olson led the Cats in doubles with 8 and juniors Brayden Tatum and Lucas Sorensen led the Cats in triples with 2 each. Sophomore Nolan Fevurly had the Wildcat's only home run this season.
