The 8th-grade girls traveled to Ark City this morning for the Patriot League season-ending tournament and faced the number 3 seed Clearwater. The first quarter was a defensive battle but Clearwater jumped out ahead of the girls in the second quarter as the Cats went into halftime down 4-14. The game was very tight in the second half, but the Cats couldn't make up the difference and fell 9-22. Claudia Abbott led the girls with 4 points in the game.

The 8th-grade girls finished the season with a 1-13 record and 1-9 in league play with their win coming from the Winfield game. The 8B girls finished with 2-1 record and 2-0 in league play before their season got cut short due to a player shortage. The girls were led by Braylinn Curtis who scored 104 out of the Wildcat's 176 points this season and 7.4 points per game. The girls scoring breakdown is as follows:
