The 8th grade boys grab second win of the season. 7th grade battle hard but come up just short against Gorillas.

MHS - Football / September 11, 2022 By Kasey McDowell

The Mulvane Middle School football teams hosted their first home games of the season as the Haysville West Gorillas came into town. The 7th grade team battled hard but fell 22-26 to the Gorillas. Quarterback Jeter Tatum found the endzone twice for the Cats and Keaton Grizzle added a score with a 30-yard run. "The 7th grade faced another strong opponent in Haysville West," said Coach Beikman. "I felt we played better than week one but we continued to hurt ourselves at times. Defensively we did not tackle well and that cost us a ball game. These boys will continue to work during the week and improve for our game at Ark City."
