Former Mulvane standout Jayden Price earns All-American Honors and All-Conference Awards for the 2021 season.

Jayden Price (2018), also known as JP3, was a Mulvane standout in several sports from 2014 to 2018 and has been a member of the North Dakota State University Bison football team for 4 years as a defensive back and a special teams return specialist. JP3 has been a thorn in the side of opponents all year as a punt returner and has 25 punt returns for 333 yards, 1 touchdown, and a 13.3 average/return, and a long of 45 yards.

Jayden was selected to the Stats Perform FCS All-America Team (3rd team) as a punt returner and is his first appearance on an All-America team. You can see the NDSU full press release here.

JP3 also earned All-Missouri Valley Football Conference 2nd Team honors as a return specialist. You can see the NDSU full press release here

The Bison are headed to the FCS National Championship game on January 8th at Frisco, Texas, and will face Montana State for the National Championship. This will be JP3's third National Championship game at NDSU and they won the 2018 and 2019 championship games. 

Price is a Junior at NDSU but has a couple of years of eligibility left due to redshirt and the COVID year last season. Price was a 2018 graduate of Mulvane High School...Three-year starting quarterback and defensive back for coach Dave Fennewald...Team captain as a senior...Played in eight games passing for 1,425 yards and 16 touchdowns while rushing for 936 yards and 16 TDs...Had 46 tackles and three interceptions on defense...Accounted for 7,895 yards of total offense with 101 touchdowns in his career...Passed for 4,536 yards and 51 TDs...Set school records for career points (306) and rushing yards (3,359), attempts (493) and TDs (50)...Kansas All-Class 4A Division I first team quarterback in 2016 and 2017...Two-time all-league first team and Offensive League MVP...All-league second team defensive back in 2017...Invited to play in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl as a defensive back.
